Incineration technology in MSW is used to utilize energy or minimize landfill area without energy recovery. The waste feed varies depending on the location and time, and it contains organic material, which is combusted in the presence of excess oxygen at high pressure in a boiler or furnace. The products formed in the combustion process include hot combustion gas, which consists of N2, CO2, H2O, flue gas, oxygen, and noncombustible residues.
